Hi everyone, We took "Ralph" formerly known as G's Levi, out to GRA on Easter weekend and let him pick out a playmate. We looked at a couple of girls, but ended up with a returned dog, "Prairie Lord." Bill told us that he didn't respond well to a cat in his newly adopted home. Ralph got along fine with him and we felt that his choice was excellent. We have named our new family member "Jimmie" and he and Ralph are the best of friends. It is like Ralph came out of his shell. One thing for sure, we don't need our lawn aerated this year with all the running around they are doing. They are both so happy. Jimmie has mastered stairs quickly and has settled in nicely. A match made in heaven. Thanks to Jiffer and Meganm for your messages. Much appreciated. Ralphsmom

Sunny does not interact with the other greys I have had here, so his attachment are not in the physical sense but very much emotional, when I was fostering I thought it would be Callie that would miss them, to her they were playmates, once they walked out the door she automatically resumed life as it was before they arrived with batting an eye, Sunny on the otherhad who paid only curious attention when they first arrived and then ignore them would slip into a funk for a couple days when then left, when Callie passed away he slipped into a great depression and was snappish and intolerant with the cats and my other dog Nikki, it took adopting Maya 2 1/2 months later to help start the process of bringing him out of his depression.

We brought 3 greyt boys home all together! Yes we were a bit overly ambitious and it was soooo much work but I would not change a thing!!! They are so greyt and get along famously! And all 3 are cat friendly! Our bridge boy was a lone grey and looking back now I think maybe his low key nature was loneliness for a grey friend...

We only have Tigger right now, but hoping to get him a girlfriend in June. We're taking him back to GRA while we are on our honeymoon (We're getting married June 3rd) and chances are Tigger will come back with a little female friend. It will be kind of tight, we live in a one bedroom appartment, but the love Tigger gives me is so great, twice as much is well worth the loss of personal space.

I've pre-adopted a third but I don't know when I'll be getting him. Depends on how well (or not) he does in training.

We adopted Abby (Apollo) a week and a bit ago and Tigger was a completly changed dog. He went from sleeping all day to constantly being at my feet now wanting my love and affection. Abby on the other hand wants nothing to do with me and loves my husband. We adopted her for Tigger but I think she became my husband's girl.

I have 2...Sully and Brook. They're great company for each other, even though SHE is "boss lady".

Roman has been an only child for over a year now, but next spring when we move back to Northern Ontario for good, we will be getting a sibling for Roman (yay!!!!). I've wanted to get a second for the longest time, but the timing and my situation just wasn't suitable. But we are buying a house next year and I won't be a "transient student" anymore, so I think that time will be just perfect for an addition to the family!
