Hi all! It's been a while since I've been on here, but I know you're all very knowledgeable so thought I'd run something by you.
My 12.5 year old girl, Chelsea, has been drinking a tonne of water and needing to pee a great deal over the past couple weeks. I took her in for blood work and urinalysis today and she's got very high creatinine level- 278. Urine specific gravity is 1.020. Vet is thinking kidney disease, but she's acting otherwise normally and eating well. I know creatinine is normally high in greys but this seems extra high. In March the value was 1.65.
Any thoughts?

Hi! I'm so sorry you're experiencing problems. It's concerning I know. I have no ideas for you. When we had problems last year with Bruce there were a whole lot of other symptoms. Are there other tests your vet recommends? Hopefully others will chime in.

I'm so sorry Chelsea is not feeling well.
The forum isn't very busy these days so I would suggest that you post your question on the GRA Facebook page.
I hope you find answers soon.
Big hug to your girl.

Don't have experience here but wanted to let you know we are thinking of Chelsea.
So unsettling when something is not right. Hoping things are sorted out and it was a temporary issue. Please keep us posted.
