Hello! It has been a while since I have been able to update my hound status. But this weekend (one week shy of the three year anniversary of losing my boy, Max), I have welcomed two new hounds into my home. They were in a home for a couple of years, and the family posted a request to rehome them though another group. I'm not going to get into that part - I just know that two pups needed a new home. The family didn't seem to know details on exactly where they came from, and didn't know their race names. The first thing we did was check their tattoos and find out who they are. It would seem they were GRA graduates, so I thought it would be great and the right place, to update their current status, especially since they both seem to have littermates who were also adopted out through GRA. So, re-introducing Primo Rush (fawn, 7 year old male), now known as Remy, and MCP's Mollie (black 6 year old female), now known as Lollie. They unpacked their suitcases at my place yesterday and are settling in well. And they would love to hear from their sibs out their - Primo Gal and Primo Flash and MCP's Gayla and MCP's Troy - and maybe have a family reunion!

Bless you for bringing home these two beautiful hounds .... it sounds like they have found the perfect Forever Home with you. There is also a GRA facebook now ..... www.facebook.com/groups/1439483209635673/ .... it might be worthwhile joining up so you can get more coverage on finding both Remy and Lollie's siblings. And hopefully, some members might recognize/remember these two when they were adopted out through GRA. Wishing you luck in finding their siblings ... and I hope you'll keep posting updates and photos.

How wonderful that you have welcomed Remy and Lollie! You were certainly there at the right time in their lives. And what a truly wonderful third year memorial for your dear angel Max. Look forward to further updates and hope you are able to soon connect to other family members.

Congrats on opening your home to these two lovely pups when in need. Also, a greyt tribute to your max. Hope you post more adventures and pictures on their settling in and adventures.
I'm pretty sure a member of the South Simcoe Greyhound group owns a pup named Gayla, I'd check with Karen at Campgreyhound or hopefully someone else chimes in.

Primo Gal was a member of the SSGG, she recently passed away but she was a lovely girlie. Her adopted name was Velvet.
Gayla is a current member of the SSGG and a lovely girlie, I'm sure her Mom will come on for a chat soon.
Congratulations on your 2 beautiful new additions!

Karen from Camp Greyhound shared with me the story and link for Remy and Lollie otherwise known as Primo Rush and MCP 's Mollie. So happy they have found a forever home with you. I have Lollie's sister, Gayla. We adopted her August 28, 2011 from GRA. Best day ever. When we adopted her she was sooooo shy. But all that has changed! She barks and alerts us to anyone at the front door, she loves her runs with SSGG, likes to sleep with us and cuddle on all couches. I'm not very techy but i have uploaded a picture. They look very similar....beautiful!

Too bad Primo Rush and Velvet didn't get to meet, but I hope I get to meet your pups one day, I would love to see any similarities he had to his sis. Congrats on your adoptions, sounds like they are settling in wonderfully.
