Sam and Adam, I started writing this long and profound post back to the both of you and then realized, at the end of the day - be thankful that Cora will be with you for a long time, has helped with your pain of losing Donna, that Donna completely approves and is smiling for sure. There is a reason things happen, I haven't quite figured it all out, but there must be. Donna is one happy and restfull pup, first, having being loved by you two and secondly, that Cora is now loved and being taken care of by you as well. She knows that your love and care are first rate. Please believe me when I say, I am so impressed that you were able to open your hearts, once again to loving these beautiful pups. I truly admire you both. Martha

That's wonderful that Julie is your vet - you can't get more greyhound savvy than that in this province! Sounds like it's a functional murmur and nothing to worry about, awesome news! No this is No error. We saw Julie today at Ostrander. She's our vet. Cora has a Grade 5 Heart murmur but Julie says that it's been consistent and not to worry because nothing has changed and it is likely that she had this condition at birth. We noticed her heart murmur right away but her last owners confirmed this. Anyway, We love Cora and she's got a forever home now.

Yay! Glad to read all is ok...now you all can take a deep breath, relax and enjoy sharing new 'firsts' w/ your new pup. I think Donna sent you to find her for a reason too...

Glad you received confirmation from Ostrander that nothing to worry about. Not sure what class of murmur it was but one of my cats had a heart murmur that devolved mid-life and he lived to a ripe age of 18!
So glad you opened your heart & home to Cora, can't wait to meet her at a London walk soon!

we may not be coming to a grey walk any time soon because of her dog aggression. But eventually we are hoping to be able to walk with you guys but not yet.
