It is with a heavy heart I write this. Cindy was sent to the rainbow bridge to run free. Cindy was my first Greyhound and from her I learned to love and respect this gentle breed. Cindy was a sweet gentle girl who loved to play with her bum up in the air always daring you to chase her. She loved belly rubs and would lift her leg as soon as those words were mentioned. I could never find any recorded races she was probably scared of the starting noise to begin a race. She was afraid of every loud noise except the vacuum cleaner. Cindy had lost 17 lbs and went down to 49 lbs. Right up until last few days she could still guard a marrow bone like nobodies business from Kenny who was 80 lbs lol I had Cindy for 3 years at the end of March, I wish we had more time together. Two evenings before she went to sleep she came to my bed and rested her head beside me and would not leave. She had never done this before. I think it was her way of telling me it was time to let her go and that she loved me. Run free my sweet girl...until we meet again at the Rainbow Bridge xo

I'm so sorry for your loss. You lost Cindy to soon.
I know very well how hard it is to lose your first greyhound. They are special and will always hold that spot forever, the first that taught us about this wonderful breed. That will always be the memory to hold dear to our hearts.
They do give us a sign that they are ok, before or after they leave us.
Rest in peace Cindy.
You have her memories and pictures to cherish.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Cindy was too young and I wish you had more time with her.
She is running pain free and guarding her marrow bone at the bridge with the other GRA angels before her. She took all her good memories of you with her.
RIP sweet Cindy.

Oh Glenda, I'm so sorry to read this. I remember your girl quite well. She was a beauty. Isn't it amazing thou how they communicate to us. I believe she was telling you it was time and that in itself is beautiful. Treasure the memories and give Kenny a big hug please.

So sorry for your terrible loss, she left you far too soon. 'I'm sure that she knew you would do right by her and that is why she let you know when she was ready and you knew her so well to be able to pick up on her message.
It is obvious how much she was loved. Just keep that picture of her protecting that Marrow Bone in your mind when the sadness tries to creep in.
RIP Cindy.

Run free sweet girl.

We send our condolences to you and your family for the loss of your sweet girl Cindy. She knew she was so well loved and realized herself it was time to say good-bye. She is free from pain and is running with all her angel friends at the Bridge.

I am so sorry for your loss. It's very sad you didn't have more time with your sweet girl but the time you did have were her best years, knowing she was loved, spoiled and genuinely cared for. And to help her depart for the Bridge ... you were a great Mom to Cindy. Hugs to you and Kenny. Godspeed sweet Cindy ....
