I am writing this to warn others about the shoddy business practices of Hounds R Us. I ordered a collar 8 weeks ago, and paid for it. It has never arrived, I'm out the $30.00, and all my emails to the company have never received a response. There is no phone number, and Canada 411 can not locate them. I think this company should be dropped from this forum, and any other Greyhound forum they are listed on. My frustration level with this company is 10.

How very annoying and thanks for flagging this up. Did you pay by paypal? You might be able to get your money back through them.

If you feel you've done all you can on your end to contact them and have received no reply, and still don't have your merchandize, I'd consider calling paypal, or your bank / credit card company.
Taking your money without delivering the goods would seem like fraud to me...
Worth a shot anyway...

I eventually got them. Sorry to hear that you're dealing with the same kind of thing. I thought before that something had happened in her life, but that it was a one time thing. Hope you get some resolution. TD Visa reimbursed me because the time limit was up with PayPal.

OK. I just joined this group, and i would like to contribute to the warning re hounds-r-us previously posted. This is a total fraud, and obviously a crooked set-up. I ordered three collars in August, to the tune of almost $100.00, none of which ever arrived. Three emails have been completely ignored, and a phone call this morning reached an answering service in French. I am out close to 100 bucks and a lesson well learned.

Had the same problem with mrs sauvageau, ordered 3 martingale collar for my 3 Italian greyhound(total of 155$), and never received them, spoke once with her and she promised she will send those by the end of that week, and 6 weeks later nothing, try to call or e-mail her via paypal and never give an aswer, so did a complain to paypal and I have been refund via paypal, this woman is very dishonnest, do not trust that person, never!!!!

I'm both sad and relieved to read I am not the only to be scammed by this company! We've been waiting since summer of 2010 for our collar! We saw her at one of her booths at a dog show (Quebec City) and picked out the fabric and she was going to make us a collar for our Dane as everything she had for sale was too small. We paid cash :/ It was supposed to ship within 2 weeks. I emailed and was told it was on its way. I emailed a second time and was given an apology for the delay. I stopped hearing back after the third, fourth emails. I gave up at that point. SO happy that someone posted her full name so I can contact her on facebook.. I do still have my receipt after all
