Celery is an absolute NO. He looks at me, and I tell him, "you know you don't like this", "please mom", "fine, here", "ewh, I don't like this", "I told you". I grab another piece to eat, "mom, can I have that".....UGH. LOL tooooooo funny! ;D

Thanks everyone for the feedback! I will try some of the veggies mentioned and see if she likes them.

Milo used to look at me like I was trying to poision him when I'd offer him up veggies. I cooked up some green beans one night and tried again. He gobbled them up . He still won't touch carrots but loooooves frozen veggies.

when my guys had osteo I researched and found some recipes that were full of veggies with anticancer properties - I would make up a big pot of it on the weekends (it also had chicken) and they absolutely loved it. I was also known to take the odd container for my lunch at work and got numerous compliments on how good it looked. Then for some reason I would get odd looks when I said I'd actually made it for my dogs! lol

My guy, Lane, love broccoli, carrot, apple, pumpkin, squash, and any other veg. He has guts of iron. He chews it and wags for more. He loves the veg more if one of the bulldogs is getting some too.

Re: V-8 Juice, we've been buying the No Sodium variety and adding that to the dogs' food. However I just re-read the ingredients and, although it does not contain onion or garlic, it does contain "white grape juice". After what we just went through with Rain and the raisin cookies, I wonder how safe V-8 is???

When we eat fresh vegetables and dip at the desk, that is their greatest shot to get some eating activity in. Tony's most favorite are cucumber. He chews this way more than he does any kibble or any other meals, thoughts you green beans would be a near second.

I make a big pot of veggies on the weekend for Froggy and freeze it into individual servings. Carrots by far are her favorite, and I will give her a big raw one every now and then. She likes to chew it like a bone. The mess I can do without lol

Scully loves raw carrots and cucumber, Clementins, and green beans. Hates apples and strawberries. But he only gets them as a treat.

I bake yams with a drizzle of olive oil, they LOVE them I also add a scoop of blended yams (boiled with the skin) to their food for the fibre, they both love it, I don't even have to mix it in

Hi, I was wondering if you fed your greyhound raw broccoli in a kong would it perhaps cause some intestinal discomfort, do you think? The only reason I ask is because my friend feeds her lab raw broccoli and that dog has the most sparkling pearly white teeth I have ever seen.

Broccoli equals gas in our home, but Froggy loves it. We just give it to her now and then, and plug the nostrils lol

Trip goes crazy for sweet potatoes. I throw them in with his kibble if his stomach is unsettled. He also loves canned pumpkin.
