The first couple of days can be kind of stressful for a new grey. Some show no signs of stress at all but that hasn't been my experience. We're all excited to see who picks you but if it were me I'd probably take the new dog home to start getting used to its new environment. You want him or her as settled as possible to lessen the chance of anxiety during the night. Good luck tomorrow!! What time are you planning on being at the kennel?

The other day I said the Weather Channel said to-day was going to be nice. Now they're saying it might start to rain around 3:00 - but, unless it is pouring at 2:30, we're going anyway.

Bah, those Weather Channel people really need to consult with Wiarton Willy, get their stories straight. If the weather's good it'll just be me, the hounds, and a kid or two. Hubby has to wait for the water heater repair person. They give a 5 hour arrival window, plenty of time for hubby to get in some casting practice from the dingy.

If the rain stops and it dries up a wee bit (because I'm wussy like that), we're planning on going.

Drats, I give up. Rain, rain, go away. Oh wait... trees are budding and my daffodils are up. But it could have stopped raining, just for a little bit!

Thought this needed a bump.
Is anyone in the London area planning to attend the Victoria Park walk today? I noticed it's set to summer hours - 7pm tonight.

Sorry, but not going to make it tonight after all.
Edit: Ooops, tomorrow night. Wrong day, but still can't.
