We lost Eddie last Tuesday to bone cancer. Our big shy boy, definitely Daddy's boy, was a full brother to Jana, and Cassidy's friend. He was never a candidate for the dog sports that I enjoyed with the others, but he suffered through some obedience classes. He was afraid of just about everything but he trusted us to keep him safe. He was over 12 years old and had problems with his back end, so he probably would have found this winter really challenging. Although we discovered his cancer early and could have been treated by amputation if he were younger, he Val misses Eddie, too.
It is never easy to say good-bye, but we are comforted by knowing that Eddie was loved, and that he loved us.
Inge and Larry

I am so sorry for your loss. The big, shy boys definitely win a special place in our hearts. Our boy Jack was the same way, scared of everything. We lost him to bone cancer in Janaury. Cherish your memories with your big guy and know that you gave Eddie the best home possible.

Jim and I are so sorry. You both helped Eddie over his fear and what a joy it was the see him at walks and parades. I always loved hearing about Eddie's car rides with his dad. He will be greytly missed by all who knew him.
Run free sweet Eddie and Godspeed.
Hugs Inge, Larry and Val. Keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.

Inge: Please accept our condolences. When they have cancer the kindest act is to let them go in peace so they can run pain free beyond the rainbow bridge.
