It is with sadness that we announce that Josh has gone over the 'bridge' on Aug. 19, to be with his brothers and sister and all the other greys that have gone before him. Josh was a 9 year old bounce back to GRA, and he decided to come home with us and join our pack. He was a loving member of our family for not quite 2 years. It was only a month ago that he was diagnosed with bone cancer on his left front leg. The pain meds kept him comfortable for a while, and he enjoyed his short morning walks alone with his mom. He would also occasionally chase after the rest of the pack in the backyard, if they saw something. (the pain meds were doing their job) We had mixed feelings about this. It was greyt to see him having fun, but we prayed his leg wouldn't break, and thankfully, it didn't. Last Thur. he took a turn for the worse, and it was time to say goodbye. We were able to get right in to our vet clinic and Josh passed peacefully in our arms. Here are a few pics. He didn't play with stuffies much, but here is a rare occurence Playing with his brothers and sisters last winter Enjoying a chicken foot just last Monday We'll miss Josh's 'roo' when it was walk time, or when we came home from being away (even if it was only for 10 minutes or so) Run pain free Josh. We'll miss you and you will never be forgotten!

Once again Jim & Cathy you have opened your hearts & door to another senior grey when you brought Josh home. He could have picked no finer family to live out his last years. God bless you both for the work that you do to help these wonderful animals and may Josh enjoy his reunion with his brothers & sisters at the bridge. My condolences to you both.
