My Seany is gone and my heart is breaking, he passed away suddenly yesterday from a brain aneurysm. We adopted Sean a little over a year and half ago, he was almost 10 years old and had been returned through no fault of his. He started having seizures the day I brought him home so I believe that is the reason he was returned, we got him on medication and he did great. I joined GRA because I found out a number of Sean's offspring, he had 26 kids, found wonderful homes in Canada and I was even able to contact a few. I already miss my sweet gentle old guy and our home will not be the same without him, but I am very very grateful for the time we had together and I know for sure he left this world a happy dog. Run free my friend run free.

I am so sorry. Word cannot express how deep our feelings for these beloved creatures run.
There is a special place in heaven for you for taking in an older dog who was bounced for medical reasons. You truely have a wonderful heart.
I am sure that as Sean is running and playing like a pup, he is also looking down fondly on the family that loved him so in his final year.
Our thoughts are with you.

He was beautiful, he looks like he could have charmed you into just about anything. I had to look him up on greyhound-data.

I am so very sorry for your loss. You gave a wonderful home and took greyt care of him. We had a dog who had seizures and it isn't easy to deal with. You gave him the most important thing--love. Run free of pain sweet Sean.

I wanted to post a picture of Sean, maybe his kids up north would like to see just how handsome their Dad was.

Hi Pat oh, I'm so sorry...there're tears in my house for you both. I'm sorry you lost him, he was beautiful. And he still lives on up here through the Echo and Tara litter. Remember back when you brought him home ...when no one else wanted him? he wouldnt have had a chance without your experience and good judgment - I'm sure he departed happy and loving his mummy. Sue

Yes, that's an understatement - Pat, I think, gave him the first home he had ever had in his 10 years -
