Once upon a time, Emily wore jammies. She was also covered with a comforter.
By choice, she sleeps in the basement. The gas stove is lowered to 18-19°C.
Last winter, I started sensing she was no longer receptive to wearing pajamas. When called, she'd look away ~ unresponsive to any kind of encouragement.
Recently, the one time she wore them, she used another means of communication: interrupting my nighttime ritual after she was tucked in for the night. Twice. So, I decided to take the pajamas off. She was down for the count.
She's satisfied with her blanket. Everybody's happy!

Gord wears a modified t-shirt around the house but that's for protection from the cat and not really serving any other purpose. He has his bed right near the baseboard heater. he usually starts the night off on the bed with me but after a couple of hours he moves onto his bed.

Stormy wears the HOODIE we got from Jenn. She also wears it in the daytime so she has protection when she needs to go to the backyard and we've been keeping our house fairly cool in the daytime. Since she is 10 and Seniors feel the cold more, she seems to be happy with the Hoodie. She does NOT like to covered with a blanket. Anyway, I guess that's a vote for PAJAMAS

Our pups wore pyjamas most of last winter but have only worn them once so far this winter. I find the pjs that we have for them get very staticky and our little Bonnie does NOT like that at all. I usually throw a cover on both pups when I go to bed but they flip around all night and end up uncovered by morning. I know if they were cold we would be alerted so they seem fine without pjs. Emily, our girl Bonnie does the same thing when it's time to put her coat on to go outside. She totally ignores us and tries to hide her head in a corner so I can't get it on her <s>. It makes me laugh every time.

Deep winter, they wear the four legged pjs. Early and late winter, just hoodies. They always have a blanket on when it's cooler outside. They prefer it that way.

In the winter, jammies and blankets at night (the bedroom is only about 15C and drafty). Coats for outside. Blankets only in the summer--when they get too warm, they just turn around and lose the blanket. Flannel jammies cause a lot less static than fleece.

Kawaii is NEKKID as a jaybird inside!! ;D She likes to lie down on a blanket though but that is year round because it is soft. She wears a coat outside in winter though of course, but her natural fur coat is fairly thick and is all she seems to need inside. Lisa

Flannel jammies cause a lot less static than fleece. I actually think the dogs (mostly Rudy) are getting quite a kick out of the static charges! She rolls around on the bed and the sparks go flying - it's fun to watch with the lights out!
