Hahaha, cow dog! Yes I do apologize, I never thought you couldn't vote twice. Well of those who voted, brindle seems to be winning. I love them all, regardless! If I'm not mistaken brindle is the most predominate colour in greyhounds, and in my completely unbiased opinion the best ;D

Yes I think so too, they are predominant.... Completely unbiased, no preferences at all!

I'm pretty smitten with my blue boy and about to fall in love all over again with a dark brindle boy who's face keeps reminding me of a caramel or chocolate bar!

All this talk about coat colour got me looking around online. For those of you that are lucky enough to find your dog's info on the racing database, take a look to see the coat colouring of your dog's/dogs' parents and litter mates. I came across this website talking about which coat colours are possible in offspring depending on the colouring of the parents. Very interesting. www.galtd.org.au/GreyhoundsAustralasia/index.php?q=node/46For those of you who have just recently adopted, you may notice that the shade of your grey's coat may change after s/he has been in a home for a while, having a change in diet, and they lose their 'kennel' coat. Kawaii isn't a retired racer but even then her coat has changed since she arrived at her foster home last summer. Her coat has a lot more red in it now, and although she always had a bit of brindling on her tail, I can see more black hairs scattered throughout her coat now. It's something for you to look forward to witnessing as your new pups come into their own in their new homes. Lisa

One white (with brindle spots on ears) and one Red and White here. Previously had a Red.
