Now that Freeway's foster home is his forever home the topic of name change has come up. Greg and I have a difference of opinions and need your help!

Call me sentimental but I think the name he came home with is sweet. Besides, all those other names can be nicknames Silly nicknames for pets...aka pet names are fun. Lisa

Hmmm, I seem to be out voted here... That's okay, he "looks" like a Freeway to me.

I agree with Lisa I do like the names they come home with. Overall, I have to agree with you. We have had a running total of 5 greyhounds come into our family and there has only been one name change. Devin's call name was Buzz. BUZZ!!! I just could not keep that name (no offense to all the Buzz's out there)! Buzz's racing name is Devie's Toronto so we took the first part and modified it to Devin. Of course that too has been modified and he is most often referred to as Devo. It looks like Freeway will remain Freeway!

I like Freeway. It's different, without being too "out there", kwim? It sounds good too, rolls off the tongue nicely.
