I adopted Coach James December 27th 2012, he know lives on a mixed farm with sheep, horses, a donkey, chickens, rabbits, cats and a Labrador retriever. He is loved very much by his 2 kids and by my husband and I. He is a sweet loving boy that is very quiet in the house and is very responsive and clingy to me. He has learned to sit, shake a paw, bow, high five, come, bed, cage, car, and treat (although he is not much of a food motivated guy...but will work for hugs and petting).
His information is as follows:
Name: Coach James (we now call him Lanny)
Sex: male
Colour: Brindle
Weight: 71lbs
DOB: 10AUG2010
Ear Mark: 80E-54292
Studbook: 2011
Race Owner: Greg Geter
Adopted: 27DEC2012
DAM: Coach Goldie
SIRE: Kiowa Mon Manny
He has 5 full siblings: Coach Jay, Jenna, Jocelyn, Jodi, and Johnson
He has 6 half siblings from the same Dam: Coach Wanda, Webster, Wendy, Willow, Woneye, and Oreo
He raced 25 times with 2 wins and 3 seconds
I would love to have his registration papers (how do I go about obtaining the transfer of these?) and I would love any pictures of him (maybe from one of his races or wins?). I have watched his races and love that they are available online. He broke his right hock and has a funny scar on the top of his head, also has one ear folded and one like most greyhounds, he is beautiful and we love him very much, his leg healed relatively well and it doesn't slow him down. He is a gentle soul and is very polite with everyone he meets but can be timid at times. He tolerates bathing well as well as toenail trimming (dremel or clippers), teeth brushing and scaling, ear cleaning and being dressed in costumes. He is great with the kids, even our little 35lb 5 year old daughter can walk him as he is very polite on leash, especially when one of the kids is walking him. I can't say enough good things about this boy, he is fantastic and we love him so much. Thanks to whoever trained him and to those who brought him to Canada, he has become such a wonderful part of our family we can't imagine life without him. Any information that could be provided to us would be greatly appreciated. We know he was very loved at MGWC (Lora and Jenn) and I am very grateful to them for bringing him to Canada. Thanks, Beth
