What is Love?

A silly story for you all...

Little background first.. Uber wakes me up most mornings about 3 or 4 because, bless him, his blankie has fallen off and he's cold. So in his polite way, he whines and barks until I wake up enough to scootch down so he can curl up above my head on our bed (thankfully we have a long bed and I can have him up there and still be stretched out).

I woke up early this morning, much before daylight, after getting kicked in the head. I groggily stuck my arm above my head and rubbed the furry body up there. A thought occurred to me, "Hmm... I don't have the usual amount of room to stretch out?" So in the darkness, I stretched my arm up again, a little farther this time and felt a second body!
The two puppers were spooning above my head, and one other pupper was between René and I.

Now that's Love.

LOL - I was just going to ask if the bed was really wall to wall mattresses!!!

That's a LOT of LOVE for sure!

Was one of them Echo...or does she stay out of the bed?

Nope, not a huge bed... just a Queen. We're just used to sleeping on or under dogs at this point LOL

Couldn't tell ya. I know it wasn't Miss Echo since she prefers to sleep on the couch. I was so hazy that I didn't even think to check who.

Sounds like love to me.

People always ask how I can sleep with big dogs in my bed, but the truth is I have a hard time sleeping when they aren't in bed with me. I guess I just got used to being smooched when I sleep.
